Below are some pics (all stolen from Casie) from some of our recent gatherings :-)
Many of these are old & random...but too good not to share...better late than never right? :-) Thanks Case!

Most of us are reading Kelle Hampton's book "Bloom" together...and since we ordered a large quantity, we get to have a personal SKYPE session with her. This will probably take place later this summer...Her publisher put together this promo video (which has been seen around the world)...check out our faces at the 1:14 mark. hehe :-)
This is the photo that was shown in the above "Bloom" book promo video. |

At this Mom's Coffee, Roberta (Medical Outreach Chair for DSA) brought all of the materials that will be mailed out to all Pediatricians, and OB docs in our area. We helped assembled, stuff and label them...had quite an assembly line going!
We had a large group of kiddos present at this meeting, which made is really fun! Yes, we put them (or at least we tried) to work too.

Another random coffee from a couple months ago. :-)

Casie and Roberta arranged a super FABULOUS "Mother's day" brunch for us at the Champion's Club. About 23 of us were there and we all shared stories, the good, the bad, the exciting, the scary...it was very emotional...in a GOOD WAY. I love connecting with these awesome ladies!!
It was delicious and quite lovely...looking forward to next years' already! :-)

Now I need a favor...
Please say a heartfelt prayer and keep my dear friend Cindy (on the right) in your thoughts. She lost her sweet son Jack a couple days ago. His funeral is tomorrow. It will be a sad SAD day. :-( Jack would have turned two in July. This tough little guy has had a rough go. Was born premature and has been a fighter since the day he was born. He battled chronic lung disease and hypertension and spent a large portion of his life in and out of the hospital. He was called home to Heaven on Friday. Cindy has attended several of our meetings and gatherings, but has not brought Jack around much, since his little immune system has been so weak. I did have the opportunity to meet him in person at the Buddy Walk. I'm so glad for that. He was a beautiful angel who will be dearly missed by MANY!
This is the third angel our Down Syndrome group has had to say goodbye to this year. Dakota (10 yrs old from Grand Island), Sophie (11 months from Papillion) and now Jack (22 months from Omaha). All too young and taken TOO soon. :(
