As the great Maya Angelo once said: 

"People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."

A note from a dear friend warmed my heart immensely today.  She is someone I look up to and respect both personally and professionally...Her kind words made me FEEL so good.  Lauren, your amazing "pick me up" came at a perfect time too.  Just as I was saying goodbye, once again, to my hubby as he packed up the car for yet another business trip.  (He promises his busy travel season will be over soon)
In any case, your very kind words "filled my bucket" so to speak and gave me great pride, joy and motivation to face another week with enthusiasm and optimism.
I am so blessed to have you as a friend, and I look forward to many many MANY more memories being made between my family and yours!  :-)
